HEALTH COMMISSION

The Zomba Diocese Health Commission is one of the commissions under the Directorate of Social Services which coordinates the Church's healing ministry in the Diocese. It oversees 7 health facilities, which include Pirimiti Community Hospital, Matiya Health Centre, Chipini Health Centre, Chaone Health Centre, Magomera Health Centre, Sitima Health Centre and Mayaka Health Centre.

Some of the key focus areas    
•    Healthcare Delivery: Providing essential community and clinical services to the sick
•    Capacity Building: Operating under the broader Catholic Health Commission to run operational training
•    Community Outreach: Running disease control, immunization and community health interventions.
